Rotating Exhibits
January-February:
Terry Barfield-Foster: Local artist best known for her Tiger Eyes paintings. This is a show and sale.
20% of all sales benefit the Snyder Museum. The show will run now through February 17, 2012.

March
Rector Hopgood: Local hobbiest photographer Rector Hopgood will be exhibiting photos of the bayou. Mr. Hopgood will also be presenting "Tales of the Bayou" during the reception opening to be scheduled at a later date.

A display of items from Morehouse Parish Indian mounds carbon-dated to approximately 1,000 B.C.

Pre-Columbian ceramic creations from tribes of northern Mexico.

Antique clothing for adults and children.

Vintage photographs of social and commercial life in the past in this area. (Some of our vintage photos can be found on louisianadigitallibrary.org.)

Artifacts from country stores, schools, doctors' offices and other memorabilia of everyday life in the South.

Tools and farm implements from the turn of the century.

Snyder Museum's ever-growing permanent collection contains works by area artists in a variety of media.
